Great Poem: "Christmas Poem" Your poem is a good recipe for the Peace on Earth the birth of Jesus was meant Poem: "First Winter Snow" Emotional reflections are insightful and impressive. Chosen explanations are made very clear and descriptive. Exceptional. Poem: "Until Morning" Very nice, romantic, and soul-warming! Only those who have experienced this know how good it feels! It is nice to read about marital bliss in today's narcissistic society. Poem: "Give Our Minds a Break" You make such a significant point - it truly is difficult to "schedule" quiet business - but it is so necessary to do so lest we simply break down! This is most thoughtful. Poem: "Politicking" I think you were too mild with this one. But then we do have to behave righteously don't we. It's too bad most Christians don't know where their allegiances lie. If they did, we'd have a different government. If you saw the last film of the 'Left Behind' series which I think is pretty prophetic, and we are in the last days, the president in the film when the USA fell in to the hands of the antichrist was a black man. And now you see where we are heading. His glib talking and charismatic smile won the people over. So I commend you on a touchy subject. Poem: "On Losing a Lover" Well written, brother. I share your theology and I rejoice in the prayer of hope for love lost. A nice contrast between the pain of life and the hope of life eternal. I sense in your lines of fighting the good fight and played as children your wisdom knowing that eternal life is not just when we die, but starts the moment we trust Christ as Savior. That is why we can fight the fight. Well done and very inspiring! |
